Dent Construction Inc. is a WV residential and commercial contractor.  Incorporated in January 2008, the mission has always been to BUILD IT RIGHT. Mickey (Michael D.) Dent is the president of the corporation. He started in the building business as a child when he worked with his grandpa and uncles each summer roofing and doing construction. As a manager of Atlas Scaffolding and Building Products for 20 years, Mickey worked with many different product vendors and formed relationships with contractors and subcontractors throughout the Kanawha Valley. He was always doing a construction job “on the side”; each one showed his creativity and his eye for detail as well as the soundness of the project. After many years of encouragement from his wife, he took the leap of faith and went into business for himself.  Although it’s not an easy business by any means, it is a very rewarding business when he can stand back and admire each project knowing that a family or business will bring it to life.
